How can I obtain the source files for the Nios™ GNU tools? (Excalibur)

Solution

You can download the source for the Nios GNU tools from the Altera® ftp site by using following the steps:

  1. Open a DOS box
  2. navigate to the folder where you want the files to download to
  3. Type ftp ftp.altera.com
  4. Log in as doc
  5. Use the password degree
  6. cd gnupro/3.0 (Ex: "cd gnupro")
  7. Type bin
  8. type get nios_gnupro_sources_20030306.tgz (Ex: "get nios_gnupro_sources_20030306.tgz")

Nios Processor의 Version이 올라가면 그에 따른 새로운 Nios용 GNU Tool Source도 같이 Release 됩니다...
